I tack fused some wild and crazy dichroic glass onto clear pieces, attached a bail and am ready to hang them with a wire.

Tack fuse means that you heat the glass enough for it to become one piece, but the separate pieces of glass still maintain most of their original shape with the exception of the edges rounding.  If this were fully fused it would look like one piece of glass and you wouldn't be able to see the depth.
