That's a really cool idea. I think I like your version of the bodice better too Wink. Also, it rawks even harder knowing that it's your first pattern draft. The dress fits so nicely I never would have guessed. It's also cool that you could get more wear out of that than a more traditional prom dress. It always seemed like such a shame to only be able to wear something like that once Wink.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Love the dress. If you get irfanview you can rotate you pictures before posting. It is free from www.irfanview.com, a very quick image viewer that will also batch process them to make them smaller. I'm older and the turning of the head sideways and bad eyes made it hard to see. BUT

Love the concept, you did an excellent job.

Thank you everybody!

In regaurds towards the questions about the skirt:
the skirt was made of eight t-shirt panels. I made the pannels by taking eight similarly sized boys' t-shirts, cutting up one side seam, across both shoulder seams, and removing one sleeved. I sewed up the other arm hole and spread out the t-shirt in the longest way possible. The panels were cut in an a-line type way, only alot fuller.

Thanks for the construction info! I may have to cut up a few shirts to see if I can at least handle the skirt part Wink
