Devil Baby Blanket

I had a boring pattern but decided to make my own for this blanket
it measures about 19" x 19"
I used 2 balls of dark red red heart yarn and size 8 needles and size 8 double pointed needles for the tail and a f crochet hook

Pattern:

For Blanket:
Cast on 3
Knit
m1, k1, m1
Knit
*k1, m1, k to last 2 stitches in needle, m1, k1
knit*
repeat form * to * until there are 111 sts on needle
knit 2 rows
start decreasing

*k1, ssk, k to last 3 sts on needle, k2tog, k1
knit*
repeat from * to * until 5 sts on needle
knit
k2tog, k1, k2tog
bind off

Hood:
work for blanket until 53 sts on needle
bind off

pin hood to blanket and sc around entire blanket attaching hood in process

Horns: (make 4)
use 2 strands of yarn held together

cast on 5
knit 4 rows
k3, k2tog
knit
k2, k2tog
knit 3 rows
k2tog, k1
knit
k2tog
cut yarn draw through loops to secure

sc two horns together then attach horns to hood

Tail:

p4 sts on bind off corner
use double pointed needles
k 5 inches of i cord
bind off leave long tail for sewing on tail point

Tail Point: (make 2)
use 2 strands together

cast on 2
knit
m1, m1
knit
knit
*m1, k to last st, m1
knit*
repeat from * to *  5 more times
k6, k2tog, turn
knit
k2tog, k3, k2tof, turn
knit
k2tog, k1, k2tog, turn
bind off

work on left over stitches
k2tog, k6
knit
k2tog, k3, k2tog, turn
knit
k2tog, k1 k2tog, turn
bind off

sc 2 sides together and sew on to tail

weave in all ends, if ends are close to horns or tail just tuck them into them to add some bulk
