This is awesome! zippers, a black ruff, and to top it all off that velvet woven cape is fantastic.

Beautiful. I love the colors you did that go together very well. The designs you put into the cloting are great, nothing like making it your own. And who dosen't like a man dressed to the nines!  Wink

This post made my day SmileySmiley

Thanks Smiley I think we had about 7 weeks for the whole project, which included a workbook with step-by-step instructions illustrated with photos, info on the materials, pattern drafting etc. I think mine was about 60-70 pages... Not sure exactly how much time went to actually making the costume, but the cape especially took a very long time...

I was a bit  Embarrassed that the finished costume didn't have the slash details on the jeans that the concept sketch had, but it all looks really really great.

Are there any plays with Germans? I mean, like from Shakespeare's time? Cause landsknecht is a fantastic style...

I love the zipper detail on the doublet! Very shakespeare-punk.
I am constantly in awe creators who can draw what they want and actually make it look like the idea. Great work!

WOW!! That ruff looks amazing! I've wanted to make a ruff for awhile. I do period costuming for Ren Faires and SCA. I haven't attempted a ruff because they're so intimidating. Any tips?
