I'm very very new to crochet and couldn't do anything but a granny square up until March when I found Roman Sock (by Wibit)  so I'm only about two and a half months in to amigurumi and other things that are not squares.
the other day I came across a pattern (which did not have a picture attached) that said it was for a crown and thought that would be great for my 7 yr old.  it turned out to be a very disappointing hat and I would have liked a crown much better so I designed one myself.
please be kind...
what do you think?

edit:

I have recently decided that I would like to try my luck on etsy and I will be modifying a bit and offering my pattern there for a while just to test the waters and my luck.  thanks for looking at my crown and everyone who complimented me, I appreciate them all.
I will likely have more info on my profile soon

VERY NICE!  My daughter would love one of these, she's into princesses recently.  I like it very much!

thank you! I'm so pleased

I jotted down the pattern so I would remember how I did it for my littler kids...
I suppose I could make it bigger for my bigger kids too.  they are all silly and would like it, too.

This is great! really great job for a beginner especially. I have been crocheting for a year now (which isn't that long, i know) and i could not make up a pattern like this one!

Fabulous and so cute. Any little girl would like it.

if anyone makes a crown from my pattern, would you post a picture?  I would love to see how everyone's crown turns out.
