has anyone else noticed how expensive fibrefill is getting? jeez!
Yes.  I noticed some time ago.  I think it went up about $1.00 a bag.  Thank goodness for those 40% off coupons.  Michaels and ACMoore accept each others coupons as well as Joannes.  However Joann's doesn't accept Michaels' or ACMoore's coupons, even for a craft item.  (I can understand if they don't accept craft store competitor's coupons for fabric, but not for a craft item.)
I think the reason for the price increase is because the stuffing might be made from oil by-products.  Is that possible?

I'm done!  Finally Grin  I'll have to buy packaging tomorrow so I'll hopefully be sending on Tuesday.

I did start one ami only to abandon it because it was impossible to work with the very furry yarn.

I find that when working with the furry yarn (especially with crocheting) you have to work it with a strand of another yarn.

Yeah, its definitely easier to knit with furry yarn than it is to crochet.

My package is on its way to Canada.  Hopefully it'll get there soon- sometimes stuff gets there in a decent amount of time, sometimes it takes forever.  We shall see.  I'm excited for autumnkisses to get her package!

Oh...I'm getting so excited.  My ami from Kwality might arrive this afternoon.  I am anxious to see my new arrival.

the last swap I was in, they didn't even update my tracking. It's probably fine, just postmen being lazy.

I'm hoping so, thanks for taking my $6 extra for the tracking number-post office!

Its only $6 to track something in Canada?  They wanted $30 or more at my post office!  To ease your mind, though, I've noticed that lately they haven't been updating information daily.  I want you to get your package!  I've been showing some friends pics of one of the things I made for you, and they all think its awesome.  Hurry up, post office!

$30?!?! Was that express mail? They tried doing that to me. Priority mail for $6 only takes about 2 days longer (at least here), and the tracking number itself can be purchased separately for 75 cents.
