Love the groovy (sorry for the pun, but I couldn't resist) clocks. For those of you looking for clock parts, check out clockparts.com. I make clocks from antique ceiling tin and I buy from them. Their prices are much better than craft stores and you have a ton of choices.

you can always fake coloured vinyl like i do by spraying it with glossy spray paint (cut out a circle of paper to protect the label).

it's cheating, but it looks spifty.

If your walmart's craft section doesn't suck, the aisle with the wood craft stuff should have clock parts.

it was way fun... even though we had to get up at the butt-crack of dawn.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who says "butt-crack of dawn"... though usually it's ***-crack of dawn.   Shocked

cool records!

I don't know if they have these any where else but where I live we have what is called a peddler's mall. Great, Great Great Place. You can find anything from old antique furniture and clothes to records and a lot of great recyclable junk. I have found tons of records there and most of them are only like 50 cents to a dollar. Some of those people don't even know what they have they are just selling them. I have found some great steals like Queens A night at the opera for $1! But there's no way i am making that into a clock, i still listen to it Smiley
