I made this skirt out of five old cloth napkins and a linen shirt, all from my favorite dollar-per-pound thrift store.  I didn't bother to unstitch the hems of the napkins, meaning I didn't have to hem anything except the waistband (I am lazy!).

The original materials:

The button and zipper were salvaged/thrifted as well.  I don't really know how to put in a zipper, and the buttonhole function wasn't working on my machine, but I muddled through.

Pocket!

Really cute! Great re-fashion! The print on the napkins is pretty fabulous, too.

IMO, those would be truly horrific napkins, but that print looks wonderful in a skirt!  You did an awesome job, I love it.

Gah! I love it.
Not only that you made it out of napkins.....but it's also super cute. I'd wear it everyday. Heck, I'd buy it at full price at a store. Which I never do! Cause I'm cheep! And crafty!

I love it.
