and it doesn't always take that long.. I've received packages from Australia and Europe within 9 days! Just depends on how long it gets held up in customs I think..

Grr.. I swore I wasn't signing up for any more swaps.. but this is so tempting..

I've recently sent a couple packages to the UK and it didn't take long at all for them to get there.  I'd say 2 weeks or less.  It was amazing, especially considering all the trouble I've been having with mail on my end.

The suspense is killing me, averyg!  What do you think everyone will make?

I feel like we're on a game show.

I am getting where I can't wait to start.  I have quite a few ideas floating around in my head.  So much that I am finding it hard to work on the stuff that I must finish before Saturday at 2:00 including a poppet that I just have arms sewn.

I don't know... I am not even going to lie, I have stalked pretty much everyone in the swap... Looking for poppets that they have made and posted here on Craftster... Creepy, I know, entertaining? Completely...  Grin

I am getting where I can't wait to start.  I have quite a few ideas floating around in my head.

Same, same... I keep looking at my piles of poppet skin fabric and consider starting cutting out a body for my partner's poppet... But then I never do because... a) I feel like I am cheating, but then I figure, if I don't end up using the pre-cut out body fabric for my partner... well, another poppet for me Wink and b) I think about whether I should do it for so long, that I tire myself out and then don't want to cut it out...

And I def. keep considering what everyone may like based on their questionnaires and then thinking about who to partner with who and what partners will make one another... tiring business fiddling around on the computer... and I haven't even started my poppet yet!

Okay, so I have been going over pretty much every aspect of this swap in my head... I personally think that a month is quite a bit of time to make a poppet (even working full time and with life)... So I made a little break-down of how someone can take an entire month to make one completed poppet for this swap  Grin

Day 1-2: cut out poppet body
Day 3: sew poppet body
Day 4: sew poppet right arm
Day 5: sew poppet left arm
Day 6: sew poppet right leg
Day 7: sew poppet left leg
Day 8: sew poppet head
Day 9: stuff poppet body
Day 10: stuff poppet right arm
Day 11: stuff poppet left arm
Day 12: stuff poppet right leg
Day 13: stuff poppet left leg
Day 14: stuff poppet head
Day 15: attach poppet right eye
Day 16: attach poppet left eye
Day 17-19: attach poppet hair
Day 20: joint arms
Day 21: joint legs
Day 22: attach poppet head to poppet body
Day 23-28: create poppet outfit
Day 29: check over poppet, make sure they are comfortable and ready for an adventure
Day 30: package poppet all up and ship to partner!

Voila...! Finished poppet, happy partners... Feedback!

Okay- that schedule is nuts! I don't think I could make it take a whole month... I always ship early... Plus- I get working on something and forget to eat/sleep/work...

I've started my demo Poppet... I'm going to try to finish the basic body up next week... Once I'm done I'll post her... then you'll have something to stalk, Avery. Wink
