("Sharing" by Andy Woo)

Details of swap: I absolutely adored the Giant Multi-Theme Swap and would love to do another round.  (Here is the link to the original swap if you want to peek.)  Basically, this is a swap for people want to have more than one theme contained within one swap. You choose 5 themes of something, i.e. trees, tea, autumn, owls, and books.  Your partner would then have to craft 2 lots of one large and a small for 2 themes, 2 mediums for another, 6 smalls for another, 1 medium and 3 smalls for another. This would be their choice.

Here's a breakdown of the crafting themes & sizes
theme 1: 6 smalls
theme 2: 1 large and a small
theme 3: 1 medium and 3 smalls
theme 4: 1 large and a small
theme 5: 2 mediums

Examples of Sizes
  • Large: 3 hours or more; $30 or more in supply value, shawl, shirt, project tote, apron, set of pillowcases, set of tea towels, large stuffie
  • Medium: 2 hours but no more than 3 hours to complete, $15-$30 in supply value, necklace, belt, bracelet, scarf, deluxe pincushion
  • Small: at least 1 hour but no more than 2 hours to complete, $5-$15 in supply value, pouch, stickers, earrings, bookmark
.
For a wonderful swap experience, communication is the key.  Please keep in touch with your partner.  Further, it would be nice if you would post in this thread at least once a week (you could just stop in for a quick hello.....or if on holiday or will be without internet access or anything of the such, just post a message....it just gives your partner and organizer warm fuzzy feelings to know you are still around).

Also, I highly suggest you create a wist, if you haven't already.  Wists are very helpful to see your likes and wishes.

Personal Messages (PMs)
  • Please label PMs to organizer with title of "Giant Theme Swap".
  • When you send, label PM as "SENT: Giant Theme Swap". (don't forget to include your DC#).  Send this message to the organizer and your partner.
  • When you receive, label PM as "RECEIVED: Giant Theme Swap".  Send this message to the organizer and your partner.
.

Notes about Sending, Receiving, and Feedback
  • SENDING: Take pictures of your items before you send.  When sending, you must use a DC# (or for overseas keep that receipt). Keep your receipt until your partner receives.  PM organizer and partner when you send.
  • RECEIVING: PM organizer and partner when you receive.  Take pictures of received items. (Please take quality pictures, like ones you would take of your work.)  Post pictures in gallery in a timely manner.
  • FEEDBACK: Given when a package is received (verified through PM or DC#) I will be keeping track of what has been received by gallery pictures (This is why it is important for you to take pictures of your items, just in case your partner does not)  *Please PM if there is difficulty with pictures.*  NOTE: Lack of communication and explanation, such as no PMs of sending/receiving, will be noted in your feedback.
.

YOU MUST BE ABSOLUTELY DEDICATED TO THIS SWAP, IT NEEDS A LOT OF TIME AND CARE INPUTTED. THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING UP. ALSO YOU WILL BE TIED UP FOR A FEW MONTHS BEFORE YOU WILL GET FEEDBACK.

Ooooohhhh.....giant .....I like the idea of crafting on stuff for someone for 2 months of all different themes!  I would REALLY hope all that I craft and include as extras would fit in a large flat rate box at the largest...otherwise shipping would be outta control, especially to international places!  I'm gonna bookmark this and mull for a bit, see if I will have the time to dedicate between the other swaps I have going on.

YAY! I'm so excited to start this swap! Grin  I can't wait to get crafting all summer for my future partner.  Now...I just have to finalize my themes (luckily I have time to mull a bit Wink).

Do you send all of this stuff all at once?  That's going to be the biggest box in the world.

I like the idea of several themes, but this is a lot of loot to send and receive.  It'd be like Christmas in the summer.
