His hair is cracking me up, it's so fluffy and adorable! And I love the wee ruffles on his shirt. You did such an amazing job!

oldlady

It was really simple making his junk. I just switched from single crochet (sc) to half double cochet (hdc) right at the crotch and increased 2 hdc in the center 2 stitches (so you're working 4 hdc stitches as the "junk". Or possibly 5 stitches I might have tossed another hdc-inc in on the second round, I'd have to find my notes and it depends on the size of doll you make). I think I worked two rounds like that and then on the next round switched back to sc and decreased twice (or three times, sorry not sure right now) to come back to the original stitch count. The basic idea was to just toss a few extra stitches in there and use half double crochet to get the bulge. He was worked from the toes up, if you are working head down you could do something pretty much the same, but I thought I better mention it.

When you make your Jareth post him! I wanna see. Smiley

That's awesome, seriously. Cheesy I've never been a big Labyrinth fan, but I've got a close friend who is! Maybe I'll try making my own version for her birthday in April. Smiley

That's awesome!  Grin once you finish him post a link to your Jareth on this thread please! I wanna see him!
If you have any questions on how mine was done, I'd be happy to answer them, too.
It was nice to see this thread again,  I'd forgotten how good he came out, lol
