First is a bear I made from the baby pip pattern which is free online: http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?projectID=1524

In progress, I thought he looked hilarious with no arms:

I made him out of cords I grew out of in high school but kept anyways because I liked them so much, and plaid shorts that I ripped climbing over a fence.
I love him.

Also, I made a penguin out of sweatshirts.

He is the 3rd stuffie I've sewn and my first without a pattern so please excuse his messiness/ugliness. As my dear friend said, retarded penguins are cute too! I forgot that penguins have tails when i drew it out and his head is strangely shaped, and I got frustrated and just broke out the felt to finish him off. I'm very proud of the shape of his belly, though.

Thanks for looking!

The bear is adorable!  I'm exploring new ways to use old clothes, and this might be an option.

Aww!  They are both adorable, but I love the bear!  I still have some old clothes from high school too and they would work well for this pattern.  Thanks so much for the link!  Smiley  Great and cute way to re-use.

Wonderful job on them both! The bear is darling. Thank you for the link. Smiley Your penguin looks awesome! You should see my first attempt at a stuffed animal with my own pattern. Go ahead, feel awesome about yourself. Grin His tummy is a great shape and I like his feet too!
