I recently ordered two Pullips from Valley of the Dolls and it was all smooth shopping.

I have to admit though, i am so anxious to start sewing her some duds...but dont know what size to go by measurement wise...i have a barbie that belongs to my kiddo, but dont know if her waist and barbies are the same or not, nor the leg length.

If it's the new "bellybutton" Barbie, the clothes might fit Pullip too.

humm, belly button barbie....i dont guess i ever noticed if she had one or not! haha
this is a ballerina barbie..so her outift is kinda painted on her and her tutu is seperate...so i cant see a belly button on her.  lol, i guess i will wait on the clothes for now.

Im Sew Silly, sorry about that, I'm a Barbie collector too and I sometimes forget that other people don't know the collectors' terminology. The newer Barbie body without the twist waist with smaller breasts is called the bellybutton Barbie body by collectors. The old Barbie clothes don't fit Pullips, but newer Barbie and My Scene clothes fit Pullips pretty well. I haven't been able to find many sewing patterns for the new Barbies though.

Congrats on ordering your first Pullip.

I'm working steadily along on my swap stuff and I'm finding that the stuff that's supposed to be easy is giving me fits and the stuff that I've heard is difficult (like stretchy materials) is actually pretty easy for me. I've always known I was a bit odd, but I didn't realize my sewing experiences would be completely opposite from the norm. :-P

Getting close to being done with all of the stuff I'm making. Had another great sewing day on Friday. Smiley  Just a few more pieces to make and then the never ending snaps (not sure why I save those up to do all of them at once, but I do).

I'm finally back from vacation!  Phew!  I took a project with me and finished it while on the road, and I have one or two more things I want to get done before I send, but I'm well on my way to being done!
