Just wanted to share a patch-job on jeans that are well over a decade old. I think I got them when I was 15 (I'm 25 now), and they were from a thrift store. They've slowly been ripping worse and worse, so I've been adding patches as the holes happen. My landlady thinks they're adorable and asked where I'd bought them Tongue

Patch job consists of two patches of paisley quilting cotton, one patch of interfaced poly-satin, and the long rip at the top is held together with two colours of embroidery floss.

I have another pair of jeans that are just as old that are starting to give out, too. Not sure what I'll do about them quite yet, but I'll share when I figure it out Cheesy

Good on you for still fitting in to jeans that are 10 years old!!  I will wear them till they fall apart...  Great patching job - it looks way better than those badly torn jeans that everybody thinks is so cool.

Oh, those are adorable! I like how they change/grow as they age.

Anyone have a couple extra felting needles? I'll trade for them!
