This tut popped up in my inbox this morning, and perfect timing - I'm making these now for my wedding bouquet, but I'm using book pages instead of coffee filters. They're just as easy to paint as the filters, and they look just as good too! I'm applying the heaviest color to the cut edges and painting a gradient into the petal so you can still see the text. I'm using one of my old copies of Alice in Wonderland that I purchase specifically for crafting. I'll make sure to post when the bouquet is done!

Btw, I use the Martha Stewart template and prefer the flat coffee filters when I go the filter route.
