How long does it take to make one?

I never timed it. Usually I'd make a batch of the flowers, then paint them all at once. If I had to guess I'd say about 30 minutes at least for each, not including drying time.

I love the look of this... but I am a little OCD and afraid to start trying to make them without asking a question or two...  About how many petals do you use of each size?  What sizes do you use?  Did you just freehand the petals.  They are a great shape!  Thanks!

I usually do a few of each size. It's not precise. I free handed the petals.
