I took a summer boot camp sewing class at Ft. Mason last year - it was 2 hours every day for a week. I loved it, but it was pricey.

I saw the Sew U book and thought it might be fun to see if there is one or two interested folks who might want to just do this at home for a week and learn some from each other and spend the money we save on the tuition cost and buy ourselves some more fabric!

Anyone interested?

I live in the Mission in SF, but have a car and my machine is portable.
What did you make from the book?

I recently got the book from a friend of a friend.  I'm VERY new to sewing, but really want to learn more.  I mostly do embroidery.  I live in Redwood City, and I have my own machine.  Plus, I'm a teacher, so I have the summer off...I'm always looking to do more crafty things.  I would be willing to learn more about this idea...
