A while back I joined the HRS2 Swap and tried something new. Two part stamps! That way you can use more than one color.

I hope you like them:

Those are great, the little birdie is way to cute. What are they made out of?  Sorry if that's a dumb question as I don't know what the HRS2 swap was about.

It was the Hand Made Rubber Stamp swap.

I don't own any stamps but after seeing all the cool things made with them I'm considering investing.

Okay, now for the real reason I'm popping in this thread...silk81, your avatar is the greatest thing EVER!!  Love it!

Your stamps are cool. What do you make your rubber stamps out of? Might be a silly question. I remember making stamps in a college art class with green erasers. Just curious. Thanks.

I love all your two-part stamps!  So cute.  I've read about carving stamps and would like to try it.  Good work! Smiley

Thanks everyone!

Yes, I used erasers. There is supposed to be some kind of stamp carving rubber but I don't know where to get it. And those erasers have just the right size.

Give it a try! It's a lot of fun and there are so many nice projects you can use them for.

Those are all just adorable, especially the tortoise! It really makes me want to have a go, so thanks for the inspiration and the tips.
