Those are cool, I am going to have to do that for my daughter's room. She wants it redone in music stuff.

I just scored a TON of old records today while cleaning out my high school's band room.  There had to have been hundreds there, I took probably 20-30 and my friend took 10 or so.  We're doing more cleaning tomorrow, so I might go dumpster diving for more  Wink.  Regular commercial records, but also custom-recorded ones of past bands and choirs.  I will definitely be making some record bowls soon  Grin

Damn, I've made a few record bowls in my day and was planning on selling some at my upcoming yard sale...I guess I'll be selling only those I've already made because now I'm scared to make more after reading this thread. At least, using the traditional oven method.

So I guess I'm worried enough to try the hot water method but I can't really find a solid answer about how people remedy the situation of water + paper labels. Are you guys sealing your labels, are the records not wet long enough to affect them...? Anyone?

Seasick Sarah had a golden nose
Hobnail boots wrapped 'round her toes
When she turned blue all the angels screamed
They didn't know they couldn't make a scene.

She had to run, run, run run, run.

Wow, great job!  It seems so hard to get them smooth like that.  I've only done the wrinkly ones  Undecided
