heyy, so i'm running out of time, his birthday is november 16th and i want to do something creative for him, it's his 21st birthday

so he's a drummer, i have a bunch of his broken sticks i've been collecting to make something, but i have no idea what to do with them, if anyone can think of something cool and creative that would be awesome

I was thinking maybe making him a song book, try to get him motivated to write more

he also skateboards, he feels like he's too old to still be doing it though

he also likes to drink a lot, but im not too eager to get him anything alcohol related

he just loves music, so anything like that, he loves the beatles, the band, pink floyd, radiohead, eric clapton ect..

i don't know i'm completely drawing a blank on what to do this time, i usually have too many ideas
i need help Undecided

i think a clock made from the drumsticks would be a cool idea. arrange the drumsticks in a circle, hot gluing the bottoms together with the broken ends at pointing outward like one of those starburst clocks. the clock mechanism can be salvaged from an old dollar store clock. just pick up a round pre-cut piece of wood from walmart, drill a hole in the center for the clock mechanism, paint it black, paint on some numbers (or you could pick up number stickers.) and glue everything together.

you could also stencil him a shirt, or several. there are tons of tutorials on here about stenciling shirts. so i won't get into that.

custom shot glasses? even though you don't want to get him anything alcohol related. you could make it a tradition to make him a new one each year.

ooh. or you could customize a pair of drumsticks for him.
