Yay, I'm in. So excited to clean/organize/share my fabric addiction.

FYI to all swappers - I was at the P.O. today and there is a small cardboard Priority mailer box, maybe 5" x 8" x 1.5", and it costs $5.95 to send with free (or included) DC. Just thought I'd share - I know that doesn't leave room for many or any extras, but for those of you economizing, it looks like a good deal.

Off to sort and count...

That is a beautiful set, Chimes. I may have to sign up for round two just in hopes of getting paired with you! Wink

craftydeb~there were people who used walmart fabrics in the strip swap, which was supposed to be only good quality quilt shop fabrics, and there was a long survey for each participant in the end and feedback left for those that didn't follow the rules.

I like the idea of a survey at the end of a swap.  I've had a few disappointing packages in the past, but never said anything about it because I didn't want the organizer to think I was a whiny brat.  Undecided  I've also always thought it'd be good to have a "neutral" feedback.  Not positive because the package wasn't great, but not negative either.  (ie the person sent less than the requirements or sent late without a valid excuse, etc.).

All of the fabric I have for this swap has come from either Joann's or a local quilt shop.  I think it's a pretty even mix.  I'm going to try and start cutting squares on Wednesday so that I'll be slightly ahead of the game.  Smiley

I love the small flat rate box! I might be thinking of something different though, since the one I've used doesn't include DC...unless they just added that, which would be awesome! It's great to ship soap in, since that crap can get heavy  Smiley For this swap it's probably way too big, since you should be able to easily ship first class for around $2 plus dc.

That looks gorgeous chimes! We can definitely do another round later in the summer, maybe international that time since a couple people have expressed interest.  And hon, you have to have 2 completed swaps in your profile before you can organize.  :p   Ooh, how did the craft fair go??

Thanks!  I totally knew that... hehe. whoopdedoo_5 said that it's kind of a lot to organize, so it made me not want to organize anyway...so I guess that works out too!

The craft fair went pretty well... sold enough stuff to make up for the cost of my dishes I'd bought and that fabric I just bought for this swap. Wink I had a good time. (if you're bored, I did blog about it here...I don't want to go too off topic on the board!)

Ok guys, since I have sign-ups ending June 7, which is a sunday, I am going to close sign-ups at 6 pm pacific that evening so I can get partners out that night, otherwise I couldn't get them out until late night monday. So, if you are still deciding if you want to join, get your forms in, and if you haven't decided 100% what your charm pack theme is, please pm me before sunday at 6 pm pacific. The only person so far who has completely decided is imafundork.

I <3 small, quick swaps lol!

Ok guys, right now it looks like we may just have 2 groups. Possibly 3, may depend on if more sign-up. Let me know if you want to change your number of groups for any reason. Please check the list and see if there are any themes you particulary love or hate (if they weren't listed in your original sign-up) and I will certainly do my best to accomodate that (in case of multiple people wanting same thing, first pm = first come, first pick)

People who still need to decide for sure: me, klum78, Ssmart.

Mambosushi is awesome and flexible, she will do 1, 2, or 3 groups depending on what we need to make groups even. Her first group will be Christmas, if she has 2 groups Christmas and Asian, if a third is added it will be Skulls.

I just cut all my fabric today. I'm doing a personal swap with NiinaMaria (since she's in Finland) and I organized 3 other packs for next round if it happens...if not, I'll probably contact some people for personal swaps. Smiley

Hi there. I just sent in my info. I'm calling my Charm Square pack theme -- "West Elm Contemporary." It's going to be largely composed of leftover fabric I have from the first quilt I made last fall. If anyone is curious as to the colors/patterns, etc. Here's a picture:
