This is my first piece of embroidery! I put it together for my Mom for Mother's Day / her birthday. It was really fun, and I've already started on my next piece. Smiley I was really inspired by all of the work here at Craftster.

On to the pictures!!

It was so much fun, and my Mom loved it! She laughed when she unwrapped it - which is exactly the reaction I was going for. (Although, then my brother said "Show her the one you actually got!", which she didn't find as funny)

yay!

Very nice stitching. It also made me laugh. The stars were a nice touch, by the way.

What a great Mother's Day gift.  She may have laughed but I know she's very proud of her daughter.  I know I have three.

Cool! Looks great! I am just getting started with embroidery too, but I haven't got the nerve to try filling and satin stitching yet.

Who doesn't love a good Mom tattoo? Grin The "shiny" white part really makes it.
