i took ceramics and advanced ceramics this past year at highschool, and i ended up falling in love! i spent all of my study halls and even lunch breaks in the art room.
i never realized how much fun it'd be, nor how convenient and functional the finished peices would be.

i just thought i'd show off a little bit of my work here, i'm thinking about maybe taking up a class at community college next semester, if not, i'd love to find a facility i could use to continue my ceramic work.

i have more info about them and others on my etsy, too.

thanks for taking a look!  Grin

Very nice! I love the glaze on the second bowl, that multi-coloured glaze. What is it?

Where do you live? I take a continuing education class at a community college and it's in Southwest Seattle. It's great  because we all work away on our own projects and there is a teacher there who does demos and you can ask her things but the structure is very loose.

thanks!

the glaze on that second one... geez, i can't remember exactly, but it's an overglaze called Northern Lights.

i'm heading towards Community College in Grand Rapids this fall, but i guess i'm a little too late for ceramics this semester, but maybe next. i really love having Free-for-all in class, where i can do independent projects.
