Thanks, everyone!  I love the way they're deceptively large.  They look very small, tuck under your arm/over your shoulder, yet expand quite impressively.

One word of warning, if you make one -- don't sew too close to the zipper tape when you're sewing in the lining -- your zipper will hate you ever more!
