Those look so amazingly awesome!  Thanks for the tutorial, but unless you are going to send huge amounts of patience I might just have to wist them.

To make the suckers, you can also make tiny little balls and flatten them slightly.  Place them on the tentacle where you want them and push something like a tapestry needle through them into the tentacle.  This makes the center hole and works really well to adhere them to the tentacle.  Don't mean to hijack your thrad, but this is infinitely more quicker than making tiny tiny rings!  Wink

Argh be the kraken missing a pair of wrigglers?
They are fantastic. I commend you for your commitment to the cephlopods.

They are adorable.  And have me humming a Beatles tune.

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thanks roccstar for the hint!

These are crazy cool! I remember reading "Call it Courage" where the kid kills this giant octopus and shrinks the tentacles somehow to make into a necklace - piercing the ends and hanging, I guess?  He rocks a wild boar tusk necklace, and I think shark, too, but I always thought the octopus tentacles were badass.  Very nice and a great exercise of focus!

Totally awesome! I've never used polymer clay before, but I think you've given me the inspiration to dabble in a new medium!
