Inspired by all of the lovely nests of late, I made one for the hair- and a couple of other hair trinkets. I made these in March as a donation for a raffle that my professional association holds at their annual conference. It is a really fun fundraiser and the people are all such fun, quirky folk that I like to send something crafty. This was one group of things sent. Fun to make, and I hope fun to wear too! (oh- the crocheted flower is actually a brooch)

The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.

Those are very pretty. I like the copper bird's nest and the Silver one the best. Good job Wink

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Cheesy Wow... they're really pretty but I'm not the kind who would wear hairpins. I love the silver and the golden ones the best but they're all good.

The big flower type thing is my favorite.
