hi y'all

i think i can call this a recon,
i took an old shirt i hadn't worn in a while, mostly because it needs ironing and i don't iron.
added some cotton paisley to the yoke.
and now i have a country and western shirt.

any suggestions on how to make it more country?

Some sort of embroidery on the paisley or the pockets (stars or something?) would make it super western! Just look up some pics of classic cowgirl shirts on google for ideas.

Very cute! What about replacing the buttons with pearly snaps?

I love how the shirt hints at being Western without screaming it. Great fabric choice for the contrasting colour.

Very cute!  Adding some fringe would make it more western-y.
