been teaching myself since march.

i have the double crochet beanie down....looking for a new pattern to master...but here are some of my things...(if i figure the picture thing out)

i'll start with the first hat i ever tried to crochet.  i followed the threadbanger instructions and it turned out WAY too big.  had to rip it out and do it again using my best judgment.

and a few double crochet beanies of mine.

kiddie crochet hats  (you can see a kitty hat i made my niece in the pumpkin hat picture.)

Those are so cute!! You did a wonderful job. My mom taught me how to crochet when I was 5 or 6 and I still can't read a pattern so I say Bravo to you!

My mom is coming out in about a week and I am making her sit down and explain everything in my patterns to me and show me how to do it (Visual Learner) so I can hopefully make something prettier then a basic scarf on my own lol.

You did a great job! I had to rip out and start my first project over 4 times. No joke. It does become easier. Your beanies look great! I really like the blue and white one.

Thank you. I told my mom about this on the phone and she teased me and said "so how does it feel to have to learn it all over again?" I was like mom you are a meanie!
