All the gift stores around here have these amazing painted wine glasses for colleges (i think made by Alice Art), but they didn't have MY school. Shame on them! So I decided to make my own and here they are!

Very Cool!  This is a great idea for people who might go to a college that isn't in the mainstream market.  Not that your's is, but you know what I mean.  Can I ask what you used to paint them with?  I was thinking about doing something like this for my sister and her husband for Christmas, but hadn't decided between glass etching or paint.

Thanks for all the positive feedback! I was pretty pleased with these as I am a mechanical engineer, not an artist.

To answer what i painted with, I used Americana Gloss Enamels, and Folk Art Enamels to paint with. Then according to the directions on the bottle I let it dry a couple of days, then baked at 325 for 30 minutes. They are supposed to be dishwasher safe on the top rack but I have yet to test this out. I just rinse them out after use.

Those glasses look amazing.  I wish I had the skills to make such professional looking collegiate glasses, although I might still give it a try with the same paints as you used!

I also went to Tech and have an engineering degree.  These totally caught my eye.  You are too an artist!  Good job!
