I also love the darwin necklace.  Automaton J., wouldn't it have been funny if we had both sent each other a necklace like that for our whimsies swap?

Ahhh...I always tell myself to stay away from the gallery until I've sent, yet here I am, and feeling very worried about my stuff! Ahhh I hope it all turns out to be half as cool as all these things. I freaking love that darwin necklace. Awesome.

I know the feeling. You're all proud of your work and feeling confidant, then you look at the gallery and go.... uh-oh.

LOOKING FOR A PERSONAL SWAP: I'm hoping for dinosaur-themed Xmas crackers, or other dinosaur Xmas items. I can make a Jayne Cobb hat, or many other things!

"Before we begin, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! Thank you."

I recieved from Spectrumsparksie!
She is a fantastic swap partner, and did some great stalking, too!

First up: An awesome photoshop job of Brain from Pinky and the Brain! I love love love this. I have about twelve places I want to hang this in the house.

Next: An awesome steampunked USB. It's gorgeous! I'm going to stick it on a chain and use it as a necklace. Tongue

Next: An awesome steampunk ring in a very cool little box.

It's the perfect fit! Did you steal one of my rings to check the sizing? It actually fits better than the ring I usually wear!
It came with a note:

Which reads:
"My Darling,
If you are reading this I am already gone. Do not fret my love as we will be together again soon. The danger is certainly real and so I leave you my ring. Remember the awesome power of the stone and only use it if you are in mortal peril.
Using the ring I have seen marvellous things as well as those that --paper is torn-- knows no bounds."

Next, an awesome specimen jar that unfortunately leaked, but not too much, so everything else was a-okay! I had to take off the label to let it dry, and I'll probably refill the jar a little bit.
Dyl [my mister] and I want to collect a whole assortment of specimens in different jars, and this is an awesome addition!!

The label reads "Unknown specimen. Collected from the chest cavity of midshipman Peters who, before his death, was displaying uncharacteristic language capabilities. He was able to converse in Spanish with the cooks as well as in Latin, with a much greater fluency than myself, although I spent years of study whilst he, according to his cousin who is also aboard, had none. -- Pacific Ocean, November 1764."

Next, a really cool tie/wrap necklace. I love the beads. Very much my style.

Still more! A fantastic keyboard bracelet that says "Sarah" [That's my name! Shocked ]

And last, but certainly not least!
My very own Frank doll! [From Donnie Darko]

And just one for laughs. Frank showing off his feminine side! I didn't realise he's a reconned Barbie til I saw his feet! Cheesy

Truely the haul of the century.
Thank you so so so much, Carolyn!! If anyone else ever gets a chance to swap with her, you're in for a real treat!  Wink Cheesy Grin
