so, i was very inspired by noooitaremybirthday's shrinky jewelery, and even though i can't buy shrink plastic here i did have some left from when i was last in the USA. so, there is this artist i really really like that does amazing pop art, and i figured i could make some pretty cool shrinky things. so, here you have them:

(i photoshopped the images to give them a cool background, but thats all, the picture of the actual shrinky is original)

(the white near the mouth on this one is just the reflection of the sun)

heres a more boring one where you can see the size:

(ignore the FOLIOS on my pinky, i just needed to remember to take paper to school)

they are just made out of shrink plastic, the wire thingy is made out of jewlery wire (I'm sure it has a fancy name, but thats what i call it) and they were drawn on using ultra fine point sharpies. i hope you like them!! I'm planning on making more when i'm done with my exams Cry   but summer is almost here, so i'll have time for craftyness! Grin

If you run out of shrinky dink plastic, any plastic stamped with a number 6 works the same way! AND you can order it online. Thats what I do!

These are fantastic.  I am not that creative with shrinky dinks!

I forgot about shrinky dinks entirely!
What a way to bring them into adulthood too.

I love Roy Litchenstein. I saw a exhibit in Milwaukee a few years ago that had a ton of his work.

Very cool earrings.

Such a great idea! I LOVE shrink plastic, but tend to just doodle on it.

I've never used Shrinky Dinks before, but this site has definitely made me want to use them, so I'm hoping to stock up when I go to the US in July.

LOVE them, especially the second one, very inspiring!
