i have been noticing your different photos of jewellery modelled by that nice tattooed paper dress form for some days now, and i only just figured out it's not life size.
gives me a much better opinion of your sense of scale with the flower necklaces.  at first i was like "those are really neat but who is going to wear a 12-inch rose on their shoulder?!"
sorry, i just thought i should share this [face-palm] moment, for comic relief.

How big is your bust (umm, the fake one, not the real ones!  Cheesy)? I have been trying to figure out the scale as well. I saw the button necklace and thought "Where did she get 5" buttons?"

Okay. That totally puts all your work in a different perspective! I do love the flower necklaces.

What if you put some sort of faint 1" x 1" grid on the bust? Add to the the look of the bust. Work it in with the cracks that are already there?

i think the mini dress form is great but yeah maybe just put a nice wooden yardstick next to it in the picture... you could even "vintage" it up with a little light brown stain (or acrylic, or coffee? LOL), if the ones you find in the stores are too new-looking.

ETA:  as for favorites on the actual crafts:   i would wear the glass-bead ones (turquoise/clear one and red one especially) and i like the idea of the flower ones, i think i would wear the fuchsia one.  only that one because i almost never wear white or pastels.  also i have (obviously) extremely lousy color-memory.  oh yeah i like the blue buttons necklace, too.

I'm actually mildly disappointed to hear that the bust isn't lifesize. I still like the beautiful first necklace and the matching earrings very much regardless, and the blue button necklace is lovely too, but I think they would be flippin' cool if they were as huge as they appear.

I really, really, really want to try making something like the flower one only that big and OTT now. Do you mind if I borrow your idea and go for it if I promise to credit you and so on?

I really like the skull necklace.  Where did you get the skull beads?  I usually make them out of white poly clay but they take forever to get them just right, and I really like the ones you used in that dice necklace.
