Neither my husband nor I really care much for holidays and occassions, the rest of our family members do, so we are somewhat obligated to initiate DS into the world of over-commercialized hallmark holidays.

With that said, this was our son's first Easter, and we bailed on about 5 different gatherings to go to his mother's house for a quieter and more low-key celebration. This involved a light dinner and watching a movie Smiley
Because our son is her first (and so far only) grandchild, she goes completely ga-ga over any cutesy little thing, so I figured I'd blow her cute-meter by dressing our one-year old as the Easter Bunny...

I simply traced one of his existing sleepers, and added a hood with ears and a stuffed tail. The fabric, stuffing and zipper were all in my stash, so this was a freebie Smiley
The hood is not perfect...could have been bigger...other than that, it was just what I wanted to whip up in the 45 minutes from conception of idea to completion of project.

(The zipper is on a diagonal on purpose; I couldn't find the right length in my stash so I used one that matched but was a little long.)

*My kid will hate me for this when he grows up, and I will probably be the cause of much embarrasment*
