Does anyone know where I can find grapefruit beads?  I'm talking about beads that look like actual grapefruits, not just beads that are that color. They can be whole, sliced, pink, yellow, glass, plastic, clay...anything will work.  I need them for a Jimmy Buffett themed necklace I'm making to wear to a concert (he has a song about grapefruit and Juicyfruit being good for the soul).  And if you've ever been to a Buffett concert, you know they don't have to be subtle or classy!

Or, if I can't buy them, any thoughts about an easy way to make a credible looking grapefruit bead?

Thanks for any input!

Thanks!  I found the second site by doing a Google search, but from their description, it sounded like the holes in the beads wouldn't be big enough.  But, I don't know why I never thought about ebay.  Great suggestion.  Cheesey Buffett-inspired jewelry here I come!

well, if they don't have to be subtle, you could always try looking at the fake fruit at craft stores. Sometimes there is even miniature fruit there (an actual sized grapefruit might be a bit big  Cheesy ) They're usually foam or plastic so you should easily be able to poke a hole to make beads or a pendant.
