The one thing I've noticed since I started hanging around here, is that there are some people who are amazingly gifted, and turn out first projects that blow my mind away. I am not that awesome. I'm pretty cool, and I'm not bad at this embroidery thing, but I started pretty small. Below are two projects. The first is the latest thing I made over the weekend, and the second is the first thing I ever embroidered.

First off, the design isn't mine. It's worked off of a the New School Blue and Red Tattoo Swallow Necklace that wickedminky makes for her etsy store. Go look:)
I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and I plan on cutting it out and sewing it down to a ds case I haven't made yet.

This is the first thing I ever embroidered. It's a dice bag for a Shadowrun character. I wanted something to link the bag to who the character was, a recovering addict, and so I grabbed some floss and made a nice hypodermic needle. I'm as proud of this as I am of my birdy. It may not be stellar, but I'll get there one day, maybe (If I don't play crafting hop scotch like I normally do).

Great stuff.
Nicely stitched, and nice and edgy as well. Me likes!
