OK, you people are such bad influences! The last thing I needed was another craft addiction, and then I saw all the neat stencils on this board. I've only been doing this for a little more than a week and I've already built up callouses on my thumb and index finger from the Xacto knife! I shouldn't complain, though. Making my own printed t-shirts is a lot less expensive, and more original, than buying them at the store.
These two are the 2nd and 3rd stencils I've done. No. 1 didn't get placed quite right on the shirt, so I'm trying to figure out what else I want to do to the shirt to complete the design. I've got a couple more completed shirts as well, along with a few other stencils cut out that I haven't even used yet!

I found the Phoenix design on a tattoo website. This is a bleach stencil (these are so cool! Thanks for the tut, Jenihall!)

Close up

And this is a close up of a Chinese dragon I did. This stencil came from a book/CD of copyright-free stencil designs (I bought it years ago, but I saw the other day that it is available at AC Moore).

"Oh no, just what I need, ANOTHER addiction" is exactly what I thought when I started stencils too lol.

Those look reaaaally nice...I haven't come up with the gumption yet to do anything as detailed as the dragon!

I love the Phoenix!  Where did you find the tut for bleach stenciling?

The person removed the tut Sad  Oh well I will have to try to look it up.  Thank you though!

Oops! Sorry! You should check with her, maybe she is planning on selling it on Etsy or something...
