Fireman Flap bag - my first flap bag done by eyeballing measurements and going with a basic tall Jordy style bag - need to tweak the measurements for the flap and make it more narrow...

Can't really see the lining fabric but it looks like red flames...

I also used some lining stuff I had and realized after I put it together it make the purse have a crinkling sound when moved- like a fire...so the purse has sound effects

I buy the majority of my fabric from a local store that sells mainly "designer" fabrics

There's a similar fabric on sale at the Quilt Fabrics Closeouts site - http://www.quiltfabriccloseouts.com/cgi-bin/Store/store.cgi?cart_id=9279680.32070.s0&product=timelessnovelty_main&productid=gm-c1970-navy&keywords1=FIRE&sales=0&lastmenu= it's called Firemen Pinups by Timeless Treasures.  Last year I made a (newly single, at the time) girlfriend a tote bag, pillowcase and coasters from fireman hunk fabric Wink  Now I want to make myself an ironing board cover (and some more gifts, lol) so I have 4 yards of the fabric coming Cheesy  At $3.99/yard it's a heck of a bargain!

(No affiliation, just a happy customer who likes hunk fabric, LOL!!!)
