I made this for a friend who just had a baby boy.  The theme in their nursery was All-Star/sports, so I thought the fabric I found was fitting.

The All-Star fabric is usually for children's sleepwear.

Close-up to see the print.

The back is blue minky.

I put red satin blanket binding around the edges.  This was my second time using blanket binding and I am much happier with the results this time around.  Only one side looked kind of bunchy and I didn't have any ugly corners.

Wonderful selection for the theme. And the sleepwear fabric is probably flame retardant...extra bonus! Beautiful job!
