My friend Molly seems to really like Lincoln. So I made her a Lincoln. I used some white vinyl that had a flower pattern on it.
After I did the face outline, I decided to frame him in Lincoln-y logs. Then I outlined some of the flowers around his face. I did some in red for drama, and some in a peachy-pink. Then I used chopsticks as dowels and hot-glued wood beads on the ends. I made cut-outs on the top and bottom cuz I wanted to give some space for the logs to stand out more.

Thanks for checking this out my lovely fellow craftsies!

Wow, this rocks!  My husband and step-father-in-law would both love this.  Very cool.  I love that you chose vinyl as the background; it really makes it stand out from other embroidery projects!

Wow this is awesome! I love the patterned vinyl background and how you traced some of it. This really turned out great and really stands out from a lot of the projects I have seen on here. Great job! Love the creativity!

That is amazing! Are the outlines and the logs couched?
Hope your fingers don't hurt too much embroidering with vinyl!
