Knights was this years theme!  Here are the pics.

Pinata we made

Cake.  I hate doing cakes because I suck but he loved it so that's all that matters.

Treasure chest for the kings treasure chest hunt

The kids were pretty excited when they opened it up.

The castle.  It was supposed to be more like a real castle but the wind ruined my plans and it turned out to be a long tunnel tied to the porch.

The girls made princess hats and there were crown crafts for the boys but there was no sitting them down for a craft after they had their swords and sheilds.  They played swords the entire time.

slaying the dragon.  The littlest girl in pink was scared of the pinata and wouldn't go near it till it was smashed!

The boys got knight filled goodybags and the girls got unicorn items in theirs.  I had other crafts and games planned but they just played swords in the castle which was fine by me!

This is wonderful! What a great and memorable party- you are momma of the year! The dragon was the best- slaying it must have been a blast (if hard for you to watch!). And your cake wasn't too shabby either! I'm gonna have to file this one away for my little boy. It'll be a while though- he's only 5 months old. lol. Thanks so much for sharing.

Shocked  WOW!  So are you starting now for George's next Birthday party?  That was incredible and looked like a LOT of work.  If Beccas_song starts now she might have the party ready by the time her baby is old enough to appreciate it. LOL  Truly a party that all will remember.  You are a GREAT Mom to go to all that effort.  LOVE the dragon, cake and ALL the touches including the goblets and outside decorations.

We're not going to Guam, are we?

Wow. I'm really impressed with the whole package. George must have been so happy to have that knight themed party. That makes me excited for when I get to plan birthdays for my children!

AWESOME!!! What a fun party!
How did you make the dragon pinata?  I've got to make a pony pinata for my daughter and the instructions for the body would be sort of similar, I think. Thanks!

Oooh, way cool!  It's obvious you put so much thought into everything and I love the details.  I bet all the kids had a blast.

Seeing stuff like this makes me eager to have a kid of my own.  Or I wonder if I could rent a kid just for throwing fun birthday parties and dressing them for Halloween, then return them?  Hmmm...  Cheesy
