One of the few things I like about my apartment is the back deck.  It's big and just the right amount of sunny.  It inspired me to buy a cheap folding chaise, which I now love, and then to pick up this table out of the trash, take it apart, spray paint it, re-glue the joints, and put it out on the deck. 


I'm pretty sure the rain will have ruined it by the end of the summer, but hey, it was only going out in someone's trash anyway. 
Yes, the porch is covered with astro-turf. This is because it is actually the roof of my downstairs neighbors' bedroom. A rubber roof. Which is easily punctured. It is only partially covered in the protective faux-grass, because the landlord is flaky and didn't buy enough.  He is also the one responsible for the two-tone siding...

Well first of all I love your table, great job!  One must hang out on the astroturf in class. Wink  And secondly, I have a flat rubber roof just like that and now I'm thinking to keep my eyes open for some fabulous fake grass to make a nice little hang-out spot up there, woo-hoo! Cheesy

You can cover it with a few coats water-proof varnish to help it last the summer rains.  That way your lovely work can last a little longer  Cheesy Nice job!
