It's up to you, our fearless leader Smiley  It looks like there are a couple that may NEED the time, and others that don't NEED it, and would just end up creating extra stuff!  LOL!  Mine is in the mail already, so I am out of the running either way.

Yay, I'm so glad that we have so much sending and receiving happening!!!  I have tons of PM's in my inbox, so I'll finish going through those tonight and update everyone's status on the first page of the gallery  Smiley.

How is everyone else's crafting going?  Anyone in favor of extending the send-out date?

Just me but I never understand WHY it is that dates get extended, we all know when we sign that the dates are what they are. It makes me nuts when people wait until the last min. then run out of time when if they would have started  from when partners are assigned they is really not a reason to have to extend OR send late...Just me thinking out loud....It is up to you partner if you want to extend or not It makes no diff. to me as I will be shipping Thursday anyway along with my daughters package to her partner ( this is what I am waiting on to just ship together.....

Wow, babalina.  Rant much?  Sheesh.

babalina---i agree completely. although the best you can do is hold yourself to that standard.  its just like friends in real life....there are always a couple who will never be on time, no matter how early they start getting ready...but we love them anyway

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

Not normally however I keep seeing it more and more and more I is almost like become a new standard to just wait and then they will get extended. I think it is really almost  of control in the swap world now. What happend to send on time and if not it would be reflected in feedback as sent late so the next org can see who the ones are that do it all the time? No I don't rant a lot but it is a standard that keeps getting overlooked and brushed off for the ones that send on-time it is not really fair and the ones that don't it is something that is growing.....Yes we do still love them for the crafts we all do for eachother and love the swap world but it is something that is getting old with late shippers and dealing with it as org. in swaps and the partners that are stuck waiting on them.
Sometimes there is issues with illness and family that cant be overlooked but most cases are procrastination and that is what makes me crazy. I was not ranting to start but this I guess just was I am not the only one that feels that way I just said it outloud It is not ment at anyone just in general.

I hope everyone is having fun in this swap and my daughter and I sure did and cat wait for the next round.

I sent yesterday.  I hope lovely_louise likes her package.  I was going to hold onto my package until friday just incase I wanted to make something else but I kept going back and forth on an idea I had so I just had to send, and I had 8-9 points anyway. I'm really excited to receive my package!

Sewing machine is working, but will I successfully sew a little something, considering I don't know what I am doing, is the question. Roll Eyes If I do, it will be an extra. Cheesy
