Basteln in Raum Heidelberg/Mannheim?

Ich hab mich schon länger ein bisschen aufgeregt, dass es so wenig Bastelläden/Strickläden/usw. hier in der Gegend gibt. Irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl dass es hier in Deutschland nicht so viele Basteler gibt als in den Staaten. (Ich bin ein Mischlingskind, Englisch ist zwar noch meine Muttersprache, aber Deutsch kann ich auch inzwischen gut beherrschen, hoffe ich

Jo, also eigentlich wollte ich mal nachfragen ob es überhaupt Basteler/Künstler in der HD/MA gegend sind, die dran interessiert wären eine kleine Gruppe zu gründen um gemeinsam zu basteln und Spass haben. Bei uns in Michigan gabs damals so "stich n bitch" meetings wo man zusammen gestrickt hat und so. Ich weiss gar nicht ob's hier für so was interesse gibt, aber man kann immer fragen...

Ich besitze Geschäftsräume so Studio-mässig und habs langsam satt immer alleine kreativ zu sein. Schön wäres mein Hobby mit ein paar anderen zu teilen und gemeinsam spass dran zu haben.

I moved to mannheim in august and have been looking for craft and knitting stores in the city.  I have found a few.  i was wondering if you knew of any in mannheim or heidelberg?

This may not be the most appropriate place to post but....
my friends and I are coming to Heidelberg on the 18th of April (next week! WOO!) for a theater awards thingy. We are coming from England. We want to get tattoos to represent the shows we have done together. Might any of you crafty ladies (or guys) over there know of a good artist/shop? I can't find much on the web. I sooo appreciate any help you could offer!

I'm an ex-Heidelbergerin and I know of 3 yarn shops in HD itself, and there are some more around outside. In HD and MA there is a craft shop chain "Idee" or something like that. Another great shop in HD just closed.
As for meetings, I just know the knitting meeting in HD, organized through ravelry.
