I tried out crochet jewelry for the first time last week, and i thought it looked pretty cool, (but sadly its kind of scratchy, so i have to fix that!)

here is the outcome:

hanging up:

and on my wrist:

I think i will try making more, and just make sure to tuck in all the loose ends so it wont be scratchy, but it was fun at least!
thanks for looking! Cheesy

(and just youtube crochet jewlery if you want to try it, there are tons of video tutorials that helped me!)

I love it!  I've been wanting to try crochet jewelry before but haven't gotten around to actually learning it...yet.  Good luck on your next piece! Smiley

What size hook & wire did you use? Looks as though you used a similar technique to one I made once, but the end result is much different! I had used a "K" hook, so the loops were so big that the beads could slide around their loops. I like the bangle-y look of yours.

thanks so much!

I used 32 gage wire, but i could have gone one size bigger because it was really easy to change the shape after it was made... but it did work!  And i think i used a 3mm hook, it was pretty small!

This is K hook with 24 gauge wire. (If I can get the pic to work) But I can't put it up for sale, the wire I used is magnetic, so the dingle doesn't dangle properly - it sticks to the clasp! LOL! Live and learn!
