Baby is here - at long last!!

I have no delusions about this being a quilt - it's definitely not real quilting, but it is patchwork and I couldn't find a better place to put it.  I made this for my mom and actually started work on it in 2007 and only finished it in February of this year.  It was probably the largest project I've made and possibly the longest I've ever taken to finish something.  I had a sweatshirt with Oregon colours on it and bought flannel in colours as close as I could get them.  My mom and her husband are Ducks fans, and go to a lot of events in Oregon, so I thought this might be a nice game blanket, although I think my mom uses it for naps (she says it's her alone and that her husband can't use it because he'll wreck it..LOL).

That is crafty for sure. I wanted to do a throw for dad with his team logo, but like you, it would probably sit in a lot of pieces.

This to me does qualify as a quilt and you did very well.

This definitely qualifies as a quilt, and I bet your mom and her hubbster are the envy of all the other fans!

I'm from Oregon originally, and just from the picture on the board I could tell this was a duck's blanket. though I'm more of a Beaver's fan. very nice, anyway!

I have a few friends who would kill for this blanket.  Maybe I should be a good friend and make them one...
Excellent job on your quilt!
