So what should you do if you get laid off from work? Try to do something you really like that'll calm you down. I had this project in my head before I got laid off, and when I got home, this was all I wanted to do. I'm very proud of the way it looks and how cute it is, so I'm going to show it off.

I'm sure some of you may know how time consuming petticoats are, but this is my first one and I didn't know how long it really took until now. But the time that went into this was worth it because I have a very nice petticoat for almost all occasions.

This is the finished product:

It was a very sloppy job for the first time (as you could see some threads hanging down that I forgot to cut), but at least it looks nice from far away and at least it's not falling apart.

This is how the petticoat works....

Ewwwwwww!!! Dull skirt! Small lace addition at the bottom, but this skirt just doesn't POP! (P.S. Store bought skirt!)

Hello dull boring skirt, my name is Cute Pink And Black Petticoat! Let's be friends!

No cool action shots because I've only had 4 1/2 hours of sleep today...
I liked this project and had fun thinking about how many variations I can do, but I'll have to think about how to get money for more supplies first. In the meantime, I'll probably start working on doing some neater work.
Thanks in advance for looking!

Wow that is amazingly cute and lifts up the skirt so well!
Is it only one layer? And is it organza or tulle?
Either way very sexy
