We just adopted Sophie from the Humane Society yesterday. Her jail name was Onyx- yuck. The pics didn't come out too well, but she never stops moving!

Ugh, I HATE how the humane society names dogs. I have a terrior/dash hound mix that they tried to name Spike. o.O;;

That is a lovely name tag. So much more personal and pretty than the engraved ones. I may have to think about doing this because Wally (formally known as Spike -.-;Wink just lost his collar when he went mushroom hunting with grandpa.

I love this!  I need to make one for my little Nemo. I agree they are much better than those metal ones. I love the name Sophie much more than Onyx I mean Onyx for a girl? And a HUGE kudos to you for adopting! I have so much respect for people who adopt.

I have a chihuahua that I adopted I almost named Nemo because she has a deformed back leg, I eneded going with Zoe, but if she had been a boy, I so would've done it!

I may have to copy your idea.  Zoe only weighs 2.5 lbs and all the ready made tags are too big.

Oh, and about the names from the shelters...my son used to volunteer at one and they let anybody name them...He named some pitbull he saw out there "Corona".  I told him he was ghetto!  hahahaha!!! Grin
