Do we post pictures of the zines we send out or the ones we receive?

I'm just barely sitting down to read the ones I received from Ralph and poppyache.  I feel like it's taken me forever to get a moment to read them without being instantly interrupted!  Gah! hectic week. Tongue

My zine turned out pretty crap, but they did get to go to NSW Parliament house and meet former Premier Bob Carr on the way to the post office... hopefully that makes up for it!  Wink

I'm Aussie, I know who Bob Carr is, he instigated the Premiers Reading Challenge that is the bane of my existence as an English Teacher.

BTW is there more to that story or is it as simple as it sounds?

I received EdelC's zine today.  Edel you didn't give your self care game a difficulty rating.  My daughter was hounding me the whole time I was attempting your test.  She desperately wanted to know what I was doing and why I had to do it repeatedly.  The first 4 times I tried to jab the list I missed and hit margins or headers or the fold once.  My first successful jab resulted in Relax outside.  Living in the Pacific Northwest we tend to have weather much like you have in Ireland.  On this fabulous spring day it is raining and 48 F (8 C).  Shivering, dripping wet and chattering teeth do not constitute relaxing self care in my book.  So, jab #2 is buy/pick flowers.  That would require me either picking rain drenched flowers in the dark or getting out of my jammies and braving the cold rain and going to the store.  Nope not going to happen.  My third and final jab, a cup of tea.  Now we're talking.  I decided since this little test was so trying I'd earned extra self care as kids were finally in bed and hubby's working late.  So, I combined #21 (cup of tea), #1 (listen to music) and #2 (a long warm bubble bath).  Ahh, turns out the test was worth all of the work I had to get through.  When's the next zine and test taking session?

EdelC your zine ROCKS!

Ralph, I thoroughly enjoyed your zine.  You've got amazing writing skills.  I was lost in the story the entire time.  The photos were great, too.  I particularly loved the one on the inside last page, drawing your own ending was brilliant.

Thanks to both of you for such amazing work.

I've got a ton of off white mohair if you'd like to trade me for novelty.
