She is a lurker here and would never ever post because she would not feel that her work was good enough, but I have to brag on my Momma!

She made me the most wonderful quilt! It is made from michael Miller fabric, natural cotton batting, and used a wonderfully soft Wamsutta 500+ thread count Egyptian cotton sheet for the backing. And if that weren't enough, she hand quilted the WHOLE THING!!!

Now she put the top together on her sewing machine, but hand quilted the rest! I love it soooo much!

The second quilt she made as a smaller lap quilt for my husband, whom when i met back in 1992 she thought was the strangest person she had ever met (he and I were art majors, and yes, he was the strangest person i ever met too, that's why I fell for him!) and she always said that he must have been from another planet!! LOL! So here we are, 16 years and 2 kids later, she calls this his "family tree" quilt, which I think is a hysterical name for it! LOL! She also used her embroidery machine for this one.

So give it up for my Momma, she really outdid herself i think!
