i made this for my friend as a little thank you gift for being so awesome she keeps chickens and has 2 daughters so i thought it was perfect for her cant remember where i found pattern but its probably from flickr i used varigated floss for both the chicken and chicks

I love it.
I keep chickens too. Just been out in a soggy wet garden building a run for my silkie cross. She's sitting on 6 Pekin eggs and we're hoping for chicks any day now.

Yay, Chickens!  Ive been trying to get chikens, and have gone through a chicken obsession.  I love your chickens!  Super cute and a little old fashioned which is great!  I really like mother hen.  Great job!

Cute! I think I saw a pattern similar to that on hoop love. My aunt just got two chicks and she sends me pictures of their progress. She also made a chicken condo that would be perfect to post here on craftster. I think I'll make her some embroidered chickens for her Christmas gift! Great idea!
